Introduction and Principle of Floating Ball Level Switch


Technical advantages of float level switch: The float switch does not contain bellows, springs, seals and other components that cause faults. Instead, the internal magnet of the switch is driven by a straight floater, and the simple lever of the float switch makes the switch move instantaneously. The float cantilever angle limit design prevents the float from being vertical. The float level switch is a simple, convenient, safe and reliable level controller. Compared with general mechanical switches, it has the characteristics of fast speed and long service life, and has strong resistance to load impact compared with electronic switches. A product can achieve multi-point control. It has been widely used in shipbuilding, paper making, printing, generator equipment, petrochemical industry, food industry, water treatment, electrician, dyestuff industry, hydraulic machinery and so on. Floating ball switch is a kind of liquid level control device with simple structure, convenient use, safety and reliability. It has the characteristics of smaller volume, faster speed and longer service life than general mechanical switch. Compared with electronic switch, it has strong resistance to load impact.


With the magnetic float of the float level switch rising or falling with the liquid level, the sensor detects the position of the reed chip in the pipe, and sends out the contact opening (closing) conversion signal.

One or more reeds are installed in a closed non-magnetic tube, and then the tube passes through one or more hollow floating balls with annular magnets inside. The rising or falling of liquid will drive the floating balls up and down together, so that the reed tube in the non-magnetic tube can generate the action of suction or disconnection, thus outputting a switch signal.
